It's a romantic characterful hotel nestled in a Spanish style building. The place has great and absolutely perfect location away from urban area. It's very close to the port, Santander ferry and Spain.

We stumbled upon Posada Medieval and booked it as a last-minute alternative to our cancelled hotel near Madrid. The warm welcome and comfortable room were exactly what we needed after a long ferry journey. The Sunday breakfast was a real treat, especially the fresh local eggs and bacon. Being conveniently located off the A67, it was the perfect stopover for us on our way to Santander. The hotel's garden room was great for our dogs, allowing them quick access to the outdoors. a lovely little hotel with a great location.

The hot water in the hotel was only lukewarm, which was a bit disappointing. the lack of English-speaking staff made it difficult for us to communicate and get any additional items or assistance we needed during our stay.

During our Christmas stay, we absolutely loved the unique and interesting property. It had a lot of character, which made our experience even more memorable. the hotel's location was fantastic, being conveniently close to Santander. The lack of adequate heating in both the bedroom and eating area was a letdown. It wasn't very warm, but the staff did their best to help by providing us with heaters.

No air conditioning, so the room was uncomfortably hot. Our room was on the third floor with no lift, which meant climbing six flights of stairs.
